Our Savior And Peace Is Born!

     Mary looked down at her sleeping new son. He was so beautiful. So perfect. He was the Savior of the world!

 Jesus was born into the world!

 I don't if we fully grasp the beauty of the story of the birth of Jesus! I guess most of us read it and not fully read it. That night, JESUS was BORN! Our Savior! The One we talk to everyday! JESUS!

 I would like to share a very beautiful passage of scripture from Luke 2: 8-14

⁸ And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

⁹ And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

¹⁰ And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

¹² And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

 A Savior, which is Christ the Lord...Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men... This is beautiful to me, peace, good will toward men, Jesus is peace. I'm sure we all have experienced God's peace! It's something we as Christians have when we surrender our lives to Christ! 

 Once I went through a very tormenting time and Jesus delivered me and gave me peace! Peace was born that night!

 When we  are going through a tuff time, we talk to our Savior and ask Him for that peace!

 When we are crying and just need someone to talk to, we turn to that One and Only Peace!

 When we have fears creeping up in our life that are driving us crazy we turn to our only source of happiness, our Savior that brings us peace!

 When we are happy and grateful for blessings in our life, we thank our Savior!

 When we are just praying for everyday needs, we turn to God's peace and His love!

 If we are Christians and believe in Salvation generally in most every situation we turn to Jesus!

 I know that I couldn't never make it without my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I'd be so lost! I talk my Savior constantly throughout the day!

 On that night long ago my/our only source of well being was born into the world!

 He is my peace, He is my Savior!

I wrote this for my sister and mines magazine but didn't end up putting it in there, so I thought I'd share it with you!
