Forever In Our Hearts....

On January 2nd 2016 my Grannie went to be with Jesus... I know she is in a better place with no more pain and suffering.... Yet It's hard to imagine life without her... In this post I want to take time  to walk down "Grannie memory Lane".

Grannie at Christmas Time would buy these movies for us as they came out each year!!!!

So... we pull up to LifeWay (momma, Grannie, and I) I look in the window and see that you can

 pre-buy When Calls The Heart!!!!!!! I was super excited and Grannie surprised me that day and bought it for me!!!!!!! The whole family loves/loved the first movie!!!!!! When we found out that the movie was turning into a series, Grannie found out when they aired on HallMark channel and invited us girls over to watch it with her every week!!!! We did that for seasons 1 and 2!!!!! Even though she as not able to watch a lot of season 2 with us, due to health problems(;  She would always buy the DVDs for us too!!!!!!!!!! Our whole family loves these shows and will continue to watch them, and she'll be watching them with us in our hearts;);););)

These are pretty much the things I would watch with Grannie when I went to spend a day with her over at her house!!!!!! We mostly watched the Westerns!!!!!!!!!

I would sometimes go over to her house to do laundry and that's when we would watch these things together!!!!!!!!!!!

She called me "WashLady";);););)

Grannie taught Chloe and I how to Cross-Stitch!!!!!! I knew she took pride in us knowing how to do that, she loved doing it and was a master at it!!!!!!! This pic is 1 of a cross-stitching that she started for my little brother Noah! You see Grannie make a C.S. for each of us Children;) Unfortunately Grannie died before she was able to finish it..... I thought it would be a great idea if I finished the 2 spots she hadn't done yet in time for her funeral... With Chloe doing 1 spot and me doing the other were able to finish it for her;);););)

So Grannie started knitting blankets for each of us girls awhile back! She was down to me, and she commented a couple times about hoping I liked the color because Chloe had picked it out and said I would like it. She told me to blame Chloe if I didn't, lol!

I watched her worked on this a lot!!!!!!!!!

It was so special for me!

Then she started having trouble and she wasn't mobile.... Then Hospital then the rehab Nursing Home..... Sadly Grannie never finished my blanket......... I have the blanket now, just like she left it;) "It will forever be with me, Grannie!!!!;);););)"

For Grannie's funeral I wore the bracelet that she gave me for my sweet 16!!!! I just realized this a couple of days ago, but it was super sweet I was able to see her on that special day;) I'm now sorry for the ones who won't(; I painted my nails purple for the funeral and after I did it momma told me that was Grannie's favorite color!!!! Mine too!!!!!!!!

Grannie's funeral was hard for me, fact is it took me over 2 hours to finally go in and see her at the visitation.... But I made it! With the help of God, family, and friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know my whole family will miss her deeply,,,,,,;);););)
